Today I finally finished the six placemats that will be a gift for a friend. We will deliver them next weekend and I can't wait to see her reaction!

These placemats have taken FOREVER and involved a whole lot of ripping! BUT, I have gotten a LOT better at binding by the time I had binded, and then rebinded, them LOL. Dear Hubby questioned why the cans weren't centered on the back, and why each back is just slightly different. This fabric was from Spoonflower and, given the cost of their fabric, it would have taken a whole lot more material and money to be able to make the back as pretty as the front, lol. I guess she COULD use them as reversible, though they weren't meant to be that way.
Whew, I need a rest! Maybe tomorrow I will start on a few other Christmas gifts!
