IT'S A FLIMSY...

FINALLY!  Please excuse the threads, etc.  I have not had time to dethread, square up or press it.  But, the top is finished!  See?

 


I'll give you a closeup of the two embroideries, top and bottom...

I think I am going to give myself a bit of a rest before I start the pin basting.  Besides, once again, I forgot to buy the sheet for the backing, lol.  Guess I will be making a trip to Walmart over the weekend.

      Thanks, Melody! I really hope to do a LOT of quilting on this one, hence the large open borders. Sure hope I am up to it, lol.

    Lin...The quilt is just stunning. I am so impressed, it is beautiful. You should be so proud of yourself with how much you have accomplished on it. Now all we need is a picture of your Auntie when she opens her gift!! Carrie W.

    I had intended to photograph my mom and dad for the past two Christmases when they got their quilts, lol. Missed them both! Maybe I will catch my aunt, lol.
