Friday my dear mom and dad came over and helped me with some things in the newly painted quilting room. Mom and Dad hung the mirror above the desk and also the curtains. Today, J came over and assembled my new chair. The basting table is on order and should be here in about a week. I am SO excited to see this room really coming together! More pictures to come...
I have also made a little bit of progress on Mom's quilt, but will show you pics when it is OBVIOUS that I've made progress, lol. Tiny bites, tiny bites...

ReplyDeleteWell, dear hubby said I should use all 3bedrooms lol so one is my sewing room, one is for storage and also houses a guest bed, and the yellow is where I can spread out quilts and baste them!

ReplyDeleteLOL, you've only seen the GOOD parts! You should see what has happened to the other rooms in order to make these look good! Why is it that whenever you do something in your home you end up trashing the other rooms in the process??? But slowly I am going through the pile of "stuff" that was moved into my Expanded Sewing Room in order to empty out the yellow room for painting. Little bites, little bites. Have a great day!
