I am just SO in love with how it turned out! I put a little bit of hardware on the side so I can eventually make a clip on handle.
For the inside I used a bit of striped cotton.
The whole thing just makes my heart go pitter-patter. I want to keep it so beautiful and pristine, I hate the thought of using it! But, this was made for a purpose and it SHALL be used. I'm just going to be very, VERY careful with it, lol.

DeleteVery pretty and you SHOULD use it! I was always of the mind set "save it for company" or "only use on special occasions"...welll, why is "company" the only ones that get something special? What about me? and every day is an occasion in life so why not make every day special! So now... I make and use things for me! Anmazing how one little "special" thing in the day can lift your day and your spirits! Use it and enjoy it! And pat yourself on the back for being so talented!

DeleteI used to be the exact same way! But now in my 50's I realize if I don't use it...nobody will. And, since I am the one who paid for it, I'm going to use it! The only thing I haven't used is my good china. Now I get the "dropsies" so often I don't want to go near it, lol. I am now pampering me a bit more than I did in the past, but life is ours to live NOW...so we should enjoy every second of it! Thank you for the comment, also. I'm getting better at sewing every time I sit in front of the machine!
